About the Ministry
Compassion Coalition is a faith-based nonprofit in Knoxville, Tennessee. We are a coalition of churches, organizations, and businesses who are committed to moving beyond the walls of our buildings to be the compassionate presence of Jesus in the midst of poverty, pain, and brokenness of our community.
This ministry focuses on connecting needs in our city with the resources of the whole church in Knoxville. Our mission is to inform, equip, and connect churches to transform lives and communities through the love of Christ.
How You Can Partner with Compassion Coalition
- Host Community Trainings: They are actively seeking churches and organizations to provide host sites for community trainings.
- Volunteer Your Time or Skills: Compassion Coalition offers multiple volunteering opportunities, including: mentoring, event support, and special workshops.
- Make a Financial Contribution: They welcome tax-deductible donations to support their programs and expand their reach. Contributions help fund resources, trainings, and direct services.
- Sponsor the Annual Fundraising Luncheon: If your business, agency, or ministry wants to strengthen the network of care, you can sponsor the Coalition’s annual event. Sponsorship helps fund their programs and connect partners with community needs.
