Rise Up Con

Our families are bombarded with counterviews, that often seems appealing to our children. There is a great need to not only minister to non-believers but strengthen the Saints. Our mission for this new type of ministry is to offer families a place to come and see it is possible to enjoy all aspects of life; movies, television, music, gaming, home school, sports, and more while keeping Christ foremost in their lives. This is not only a family-friendly event but a family-strengthening event.

Street Hope - Rise and Restore Breakfast

Every morning at Garland Oaks, children who were once trapped in darkness rise to a new day filled with healing and growth. This is only made possible through God’s faithfulness, our community of supporters and you.
Rise and Restore is a breakfast gathering and fundraiser to benefit Street Hope TN, offered at no cost to our guests so that more people in our communities will become aware and join our mission. Invite a friend to come with you as we recognize miraculous moments taking place at Garland Oaks, East Tennessee’s only safe home for child survivors of sex trafficking.

Emerald Youth Foundation Breakfast
DATE: May 1st, 2026
TIME: 7:00am
LOCATION: Knoxville Expo Center
Doors open at 6:30 a.m., and the program begins at 7:00 a.m. Breakfast will be provided by City Catering, and the morning will include music by the Emerald Youth choir, a message from Emerald Youth President & CEO Steve Diggs, and much more.
The event is complimentary, and an offering will be taken in support of Emerald Youth's ministry with city young people.

Free Veterans' Breakfasts
DATE: 4 Saturdays, Monthly

LOCATION: Varying Locations
The United Veterans Council of East Tennessee (UVCET) is sponsoring FREE breakfasts every Saturday (excluding months that have 5th Saturdays) for Veterans and their guest(s). The locations for these breakfasts vary and are hosted by several participating churches and local businesses. Market Square Farmers Market

Check out the Market Square Farmer's Market every Wednesday beginning May 7 through November 19, 2025, from 10:00am – 1:00pm, as well as every Saturday beginning May 3 through November 22, 2025, from 9:00am – 1:00 pm.
The Market Square Farmers Market is an open-air, producer-only farmers market managed by Nourish Knoxville and held every Wednesday and Saturday, May through mid-November in the heart of downtown Knoxville.

Check out the New Harvest Park Farmer's Market every Thursday beginning April 24 through September 25, 2025, from 3:00pm– 6:00pm.
The New Harvest Farmers Market is an open-air, producer-only farmers market managed by Nourish Knoxville in partnership with Knox County Parks & Recreation, held every Thursday, mid-April through September, at New Harvest Park in east Knox County.
Jackson Square Oak Ridge Farmers’ Market
Joy Radio loves to encourage investing in our local economy as well as promoting events that are sure to be family friendly.
The Oak Ridge Farmers’ Market is located in historic Jackson Square, Oak Ridge. This flagship market has been operating for 49 years, making it the oldest farmers market in East Tennessee.
Check it out every Saturday from 8:00am-12:00pm beginning April 5 through November 22, 2025.
