Wesley House Community Center

About the Ministry

Wesley House Community Center is a Christ-centered non-profit founded in 1907 that empowers under-resourced families, particularly in the Beaumont, Lonsdale, and Mechanicsville neighborhoods. It provides after-school and summer programs for children, senior citizen support, and emergency food assistance via the Red Bird Community Store.

How You Can Partner with Wesley House

Wesley House could not operate without the generosity of our volunteers! Whether it’s tutoring the students, playing bingo with the senior citizen participants, or helping offload food trucks for our pantry, there is something for everyone!

  • Youth Development: Homework Assistance, Arts and Crafts, Outdoor Play and Recreation, & Reading Buddies
  • Senior Citizen Support: Serving Lunch, Hosting BINGO Games, & Wellness and Enrichment Activities

  • Emergent Needs: Red Bird Community Store Support, Red Bird Thrift Store Support, or Canned Food Drives
