Safe Families East Tennessee
About the Ministry
Since 2003, Safe Families for Children has arranged close to 50,000 hostings in Host Family homes across the United States. Safe Families for Children (SFFC) hosts vulnerable children and creates extended family-like supports for families facing a crisis through a community of compassionate volunteers to keep children safe and families together.
It’s an exciting time for Safe Families for Children as we continue to grow and care for the most vulnerable among us, our children. Together, we can build a future rooted in hospitality, generosity, compassion, and the unwavering belief that every family deserves to feel safe and loved.
How can you partner with Safe Families East Tennessee
There are many ways to get involved with the Safe Families for Children movement. We believe everyone has a role to play in helping keep children safe and families supported! Will you be a part of the solution?
- Be a Host Family: You will make a lasting impression on a child in need and possibly change the trajectory of a family.
- Be a Family Friend: wrap support around a parent and walk alongside them to provide friendship, encouragement, and support.
- Be a Family Coach: Volunteer Family Coaches play a vital role in Safe Families by helping parents get back on their feet.
- Be a Resource Friend: you can provide items to families struggling with life challenges. Donating these items can help meet critical needs of families.
