About the Ministry

Fostering Hope TN started in 2013 by a local Knoxville family as a non-profit to meet the needs of children and families in the Child Welfare System.

Transitioning into foster care is a scary time for children and a lot of children feel hopeless and tend to see their future as bleak.

Fostering Hope TN helps children in the foster care system to feel a sense of hope and self-worth.

They provide backpacks and suitcases filled with hygiene items, school supplies and other essential needs.

How can you partner with Fostering Hope TN

• Give financially: Donate money to support the organization’s general needs or specify your donation for a particular program, like the scholarship fund, Fostering Hope TN.
• Volunteer:  Schedule a time to help sort donations or stock the store with items.
• Donate needed items: Collect and donate supplies, or coordinate a supply drive with a group.
  Sponsor an event: Groups can sponsor events to help provide resources for children in foster care.
