About the CRC

This is the willing spirit with which the Christian Resource Center [CRC] was started, and we strive daily to follow God’s direction. The vision and mission of the CRC is to provide a central location and an updated database for churches, pastors, ministries and Christian businesses in the nine counties surrounding Knoxville to have a place to connect and collaborate with one another.
In addition to building a faith-based network, the CRC provides resources for growth and leadership development including bible studies, workshops and other gatherings.

About the CRC Director
Dr. Pat Polis is a former Army Officer and decorated Vietnam veteran. He was inducted into the Army Officer Candidate School Hall of Fame in Fort Benning, Georgia, class of 2019. He has 17 years of business management experience including plant management and was the CEO of a multi-million dollar corporation. Dr Polis also served 28 years in pastoral ministry as a senior pastor specializing in church revitalization.
He holds a BS Degree in Business, a Masters and Doctorate of Divinity. Dr Polis is also a certified church consultant and certified in church revitalization. He is also a John Maxwell Team member. He is the past president of the Vietnam Veterans chapter 1078 in Knoxville, board member of the East Tennessee Veterans Memorial Association and current president of the United Veterans Council. He is the author of Reclaiming the Church, an online course designed to assist in revitalizing the local church.
He and wife Gayle have been married 55 years, have 3 children and 7 grandchildren. He is the host of The Ministry Corner on Mondays at 5:00pm and The Church Mechanic on Thursdays at 5:00pm on JOY Radio WRJZ.
