Bakeroos currently serves six foster care agencies, one afterschool program (Thrive of Knoxville), and one safe home (Garland Oaks of TN). We serve over 500 children in the Knox County area. We seek to partner with agencies that serve underprivileged, or at-risk children (birth-18 years old), this includes children in group homes, living in low-income housing, and/or homeless children who otherwise would not receive a birthday cake.
Bakeroos is a non-profit organization located in Knoxville, TN. We operate under the oversite of a board and depend fully on volunteer help and donations to fund this ministry.
How You Can Partner with Bakeroos
As a non-profit organization, we fund all of our cakes through donations and volunteer support. Below are a few different ways that you can help support the mission of Bakeroos. All donors will receive an end-of-year giving receipt for tax purposes.
Support:
One Time & Recurring Donations: Make a one-time donation or recurring. If you would like to be a regular cake sponsor, you may consider setting up a recurring donation of $50 per month. This would allow you to sponsor one cake per month. This can be done via the PayPal link or check.
By Check: If you prefer to send a donation via check you can do so by sending to us through the mail. (Info for check provided on website)
Sponsor a Cake: This option is ideal for someone who has a specific child for which they would like to sponsor a cake or if they would like to sponsor a cake in honor of a loved one’s memory. A certificate is included with this donation.
