I don’t know how many of you recall the Sunday night detective show, Kojakstaring Telly Savalas.  Kojakused to say to some of his fellow detectives when they got in a bad situation, “Hey, Who Loves You, Baby.” It was one of those things that would endure us to his character.  In our society, we talk about the word love a lot.  We love pizza, we love our dog (don’t know about cats), we love our spouse, we love our kids. But sometimes we forget WHO loves us the most.  Now I’m not saying that God looks or sounds like Telly Savalas, but it might help us remember that when we fall into depression or feel like no one cares; God is in fact saying, “Who Love You, Baby.”  Some of you may be offended at this but my point is, the realization of God’s love can pick you up.  Don’t get me wrong, the gospel is not about YOU, it is about HIM. As a matter of fact, if you want to be unhappy, then make this life all about you.  If you want true contentment, then make sure God’s grace and His glory is the focus on your attention. When you do that, you will then understand that the God that spoke this universe into existence, knows your name and loved you enough to redeem you with the blood of His son Jesus Christ.  As the song says, “Turn your eyes upon Jesus.  Look full into His wonderful face.  And the things of Earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace.”  And then you can remember, “Who Loves You, Baby!”
