Dr. Polis and wife Gayle have 3 children and 7 grandchildren. Pat is a former Army Officer, decorated Vietnam veteran, and a member of the Army Officer Hall of Fame at Fort Benning, Georgia. He has 17 years of business management experience as a former plant manager/CEO of a multi-million dollar company. Pat also spent 28 years in pastoral ministry and specialized in revitalizing the local church. He holds a Bachelor of Science in business, and a master’s and doctorate in divinity.

Dr. Polis is also certified as a church consultant, a John Maxwell Team member, a board member for Midway Rehabilitation Center, a board member of East Tennessee Military Affairs Council, and the President of Vietnam Veterans of America chapter 1078. He is the author of the online course Reclaiming the Church and your host of The Church Mechanic.
